Participants will learn why it is important for students to feel represented by the books in the classroom libraries and class read alouds and ways to incorporate diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging into their classrooms. Picture books and ideas for lessons will be shared and participants will have time to explore the books and share ideas for lessons.
