This session will provide educators with a tool to reflect on and interpret two critical aspects of student engagement: membership (a sense of belonging) and meaningful participation. In inclusive learning environments, all learners should feel connected and valued while actively engaging in their educational experience. This session focuses on understanding the key indicators that show whether learners feel a sense of belonging and how they participate meaningfully in both group and individual contexts.
