In this professional development session, educators will explore practical strategies for fostering strong, positive relationships with students and families, particularly during challenging times. We will focus on how to connect effectively from the very beginning—before problems escalate—and maintain those connections when addressing behavioral challenges or after a suspension.

Participants will learn how to establish open lines of communication with families early on, create supportive environments for students, and implement restorative practices that promote healing and accountability post-suspension.
