This session introduces the human centered design framework that presents students with a specific design challenge and encourages student-driven, collaborative problem-solving. Teachers from English, Math, and Social Studies will discuss what Human Centered Design is, the mindsets developed, examples of how we've used it in our classes, and provide opportunities for participants to engage using some of the Design Thinking tools that promote more equitable collaboration amongst groups.
